Tailgating at the UTEP-UT Game
As per the controversial rule introduced last year, tailgaters outside UTEP games might not be able to party it up all night, but that isn’t going to stop anyone from taking part in one of the biggest unofficial public parties that the city will see this year – the UT-UTEP football game on Saturday.

Helpfully, UTEP has provided a website with parking and tailgating regulations, so you and your friends can celebrate the great Texas gridiron clash without any kinks.

Among the tailgating guidelines:

• Drinking from glass containers is prohibited in the Sun Bowl parking garage, Inner Campus and Perimeter parking lots on game days

• Glass containers are prohibited on University Property for the safety of attendees

• Alcoholic drinking games, funneling or other activities deemed inappropriate by the University are prohibited.

• Kegs, beer balls and other common-source containers are prohibited on campus and in tailgating areas

• Tailgaters must shut down their activities and enter the Sun Bowl by the end of the first quarter. One person will be allowed to stay at each tailgating site if there is a large setup.

• Tailgating activities must conclude one hour after the game.
